She Was True - A Class by Ria Nirwana

Look from the positive side, I was made  too many project so, sometimes I didn't have time to write all  and posted it in my blog.

On this post I will address the results of the class from Ria Nirwana held in Made With Love several months ago (I myself had forgotten when the class was held). I must admit, this is one project who I am very passionate about and it's the first time I heard the name of Christy Tomlinson, who later became one of my favorite mixed media artist since then.

This project used  "She Art "  collection from Pinkpaislee that are designed by Christy Tomlinson. In addition to paper, there is also Dolls bits & Pieces Paper, Mask, Tissues Paper,  etc which signature of Christy and all the items are soo gorgeous. Love them very much.

One of the uniqueness of this project was to use junk stuff such as milk cans were then colored  by spraying with glimmer mist.

Put some details on "She Art" Paper Doll using various of pens and also Stickles.
Using "She Art" Mask Vintage Doily with Molding Paste and colored it.

Some details on the canes using "She Art" rub on.

"Hanging" Dress made from "She Art" Tissue Paperwas pasted on cardboard and then given detail with Shabby Pink Embossing Enamel.

The project!
Thanks to Ria Nirwana who introduce me with this pink paislee collection.

BEACH - Scrapbooking

Hi all,
For you who has  a daughter or small kids , it will easy for you to make a scrapbooking pages for them.  But like me, who has a grown up kids, it's a difficult to make a page, unless you get out from your comfort zone and try other techniques.
This below page I made a page of  my 2 very handsome boy (of course, they are my kids and for me, they are the most handsome creature ever!) :-)
I think, this page already turned out become kinda mixed media page since  I created  textures using paint and also modeling paste for this page.

Texture using modeling paste and blue color acrylic.

MEMORIES - Configuration Box

It's been  a long time I have not written anything on this blog. Not that I stopped doing my hobbies, just because I made a lot of projects hence I don't have enough time to write it down.
I also found it's difficult to start writing something. sometimes I  wonder what would I write as an introduction to share stories about my art works.

This time I just want to share with you  my project using Tim Holtz configuration box and I also used paper  from G45 , Olde Curiosity Shoppe.

Maybe a bit too much detail there is in this project, but I enjoyed the time working on this project which reminds me of miniature and dollhouse.

I will show every detail of this project. What is interesting also is that this project has sides that everyone can enjoy. I started with the front side.

Altered Art - Aviary

Innitialy,  I was almost no idea what kind of projects that will be created on this workshop. Just looking at the photos from  Ars Artium's Facebook, then  I decided to attend this workshop, and also since the instructor is  one of my favorites, Colette Wibisono.

However it was very exciting workshop, we did it  from 9.00 AM  in the  morning until 6:30 PM.  And that's still far from finished since the project was not an easy project. Then I have to finish it by the time I came home until 2 AM in the morning and continue it  on the following day.

Making this each step of this project  was very enjoyable, I was enjoying myself on the process itself.  This is not really a scrapbook, since you may see that there is not too many photos in the project but there are a lot of details and tehniques had been used on this project.

This might be called as an Altered Art......
