Three Angels

Last December, I went to Bali to accompany my kids enjoying their holiday. There was one day that I was all by myself at the hotel at Nusa Dua,while my kids and my hubby went to Karang Asem (3 hours from Denpasar) to dive at Tulamben. Then I used this "me time" to make some sketches.

 How ever, I was not feeling well that time, hence I didn't continue my  sketches and let them blank without any color. 1 st January, holiday, then I have time to continue my drawing. Here we go the step by step of my art journal page, I called "Three Angels" .

Paint the face of the first angel. This time I used acrylic paint (usualy for face, I used Carand'ache water soluble crayon).

Then I put some stamps as a background after paint the background with soft green.

Then cut the pattern paper (scrapbook paper) and adhered it as the dress for the girl. I also cut a page from unused novel, then adhered it as her wing.

"Crowning" the angel using stamp with gold paint and white ink.

Then I start to work with 2 others angels.

                                              Put stamps like a journaling and add butterflies in it.

Adhered patern paper as a dress to 2nd angels and as her wings.

Do the same with the 3rd angel.

Paint the collar dress and when the paint is still wet, draw "dots" in wet paint.

                                           Do the same with the others, draw collar dress  in the wet paint.

Voila! The art journal page is done.
